The new Yellowcard music is really good :) Every song is great. (i've been listening on and off to their new cd all day) Their last cd was quite the disapointment. This new cd is very worthy of buying!

OMG! I havn't updated in forever!I have a lot to say, but not sure where to start.

We went to So-Cal at the begining of May and visited Nathan. While we were there, my dreams finally came true when we got to see Name Taken! They did a reunion show and of course i was not going to miss it! I'm a huge fan! The concert was soo great! And Nathan's apartment was amazing! Decorated very well and he was an amazing host! We got fiznated, shopped, saw "Meet The Robinson's" (which by the way was a weird children's movie. They skipped around, didn't explain characters and honestly, i don't think a child would be able to give anyone a summary of the movie, let alone comprehend it. It was opening weekend for Spiderman 3, and sadly the lines for it were soo long, so we saw this instead.The only cool part was that the movie was in 3-d, so our tickets came with 3-d glasses.),dinned out and went to the beach. We also had qute the experience trying to buy an airmatress that Walmart had in it's ad, but apparently, no walmart (we stopped at 3) didn't have the exactally what was advertised. We eventually talked the walmart company down to an affordable price for a similar one. In short, we have an amazing air matress for guests, travel, or camping :)

As soon as we got back,we were in moving mode. It took a while, (do to the ending semester) but the apartment is set up and feels like home. The place looks amazing! :)

I also started a new job. I was dying at Kohl's. I found a job here instantly (yay) and i now work in the jewerly department at JCPenny :) It's more professional. The store manager loved me! Jewerly experience is huge in retail,so basically, when i went for my interview, there really wasn't one. I actually went to a conference a week ago for this job. It was fun. I now have knowlegde of the wonderful care plan we offer on our fine jewerly and watches. (similar to insurance.) The other girls i work with are my age, but i look like the baby of the bunch... haha.

Oh,I havn't had to chance to vent about the series finally of Gilmore Girls!The show is over forever :( Season 7 was not impressive at all. But the final episode was a joy :)

Michelle's little sister graduated high school and Ashlyn from the 8th grade. (*tear*my little girl is growing up so fast)

Hopefully i'll be more up to date on posting new entries more frequently :)

Time to write!

First off, work and school are keeping me busy! My birthday went good :) My parents took me out to dinner and the following day i had a couple of friends over for dinner and drinks. It was fun all around :) I worked on my b-day, i guess that's a huge sign of growing old :(

Our vacation went really great! We had great weather considering we were in the moutains. We spent our time relaxing, shopping and spending time together. The view from our room was pretty also! I had a lot of fun :)

i've been debating on taking an advanced excel class. I highly enjoy excel; the challenge and rush of completing a project is great! So, i signed up for it :)

I havn't written anything in a while. I suppose updates would be nice, lol. I've been experimenting with different recipes and it's been fun! I recently made roll up lasanga (one night) and talapia with roasted red pepers and cream cheese sauce.

Sometimes the simplest things make me happy. I recently met with my other grandma for lunch. She was so excited! I felt proud and want to spend time with her again. I think i made her day, her month :)

lately, I've been feeling more and more like a housewife, (many, many reasons, lol) even though i don't have children, a husband, or a house of my own. lol, It's quite funny, but it's something i really don't mind doing. I just need master having dinner done and on the table by the time he gets off work.

I'm in need of season 4, Sex and the City, and then the rest of the collection, hah. But everytime i'm at a place that should have it, it's not available :(

I recently went with my mother to my brother's homecoming game. He was in the running for homecoming King :) He's so grown up, more than I ever noticed. He likes this girl (i'm pretty positive he does) and she's just adorable, at least in pictures she is, yet i've never met her in person. At the game, my cell phone flew out of my jacket pocket and slightly cracked :( this phone, my favorite phone yet, has managed to constantly fly out of my reach. Not with any of my previous phones, did they slip out of my hand. i take excellent care of my belongings and by the way my cell looks, it just doesn't reflect that at all :(

I feel odd promoting music, but yesterday i heard this singer, and she had this song in french and i was hooked! And the rest of her cd is great! (it's in english) It makes me want to salsa (if only i knew how) and ballroom, (if only i wasn't such a horrible dancer) and then head to a coffee shop, (o0o, something i'm good at!) that's just what it sounds like :)

I was just looking at my brother's homecoming picutes (adorable by the way) and in my day, (geez, i'm getting old!) when people went to school dances, everyone went to this one professional photographers studio, that was just how it was. I think it was programed in our minds the second we stepped foot on campus. I wonder if high schoolers still do that here?

And as much as i know no one really wants to hear my 2 cents on tonight's gg, but aww, it was cute.The chemistyry between Lorelai and Christopher is off the charts! I truely believe everyone needs a dose of romance every once in while. (and Lorelai was swept off her feet!) i recall learning about the love triangle in pych 12, and it seems my parents are in friendship love ( i forgot the technical term). Sigh, i want to see some romance going on between them! Hold hands, or something! I'll never forget that day i was with ashlyn and her parents for dinner and her father, mid conversation with his wife of 13+ years, starres at his wife and tells her how beautiful she looked. I couldn't believe how much in love with his wife he still was, i wanted to cry. Enough mushy stuff, i'm not even sure why i bothered to enclude that.

Anyways, time to start some hw :)

she's adorable and her voice is great!
i'm so glad i finally got the chance to see her perform :)
Next i really want to meet her, too bad Jill and I didn't get to.
i was a little worried about going since the website said it was going to be like a church service.
It was nice, not too much religious at all.

So for Ashlyn's b-day, i thought of the perfect gift and plus it was something we wanted to attend as well :)

so all 3 of us had so much fun!!
Kelly is Amazing live and her voice is amazing beyond words.
she played some new songs and a few cover songs.

Thursday was Warped Tour :)

We saw: Saves The Day, (regular set + accoustic!) Thursday, Anti-Flag, Armor For Sleep, The Accademy Is..., and a few minutes of various other bands. ie: gym class heros, chiodos, emery, and possibly a couple others. Too bad we missed HelloGoodbye :( which really sucked!! next time for sure though, because they seem like they'd be really fun to see, plus i adore their music, it always makes me smile and laugh :)

we happened to walk past one of the booths where the accademy is... was doing an accoustic set and autographing (note: we later saw them play) and since we had time, i figured it'd be fun to get a poster signed by them. Unfortunitly, they didn't have any to sign, you had to bring whatever you wanted signed up their with you, so Phillip kindly ran to thier actual booth, bought me a poster and was back in time to see me get the poster signed :) i was so excited and very happy that he was willing to go out of his way for me especially since he wasn't sure where their booth was and was pressure for time, plus he was running around in the heat. he's wonderful!!!

We were also very glad to have my mom around! free everything and a place to stay cool. i heart my mom <3

Over all, Anti-Flag, The Accademy Is..., and Saves The Day Accoustic were my favorite!!

Thinking about it, i think this was the best Warped Tour experience yet. i was actually with someone who wanted to see everything i wanted to see and was into the music as much as i am and didn't want to leave earlier, like michelle did one year and my brother did the year after.

ps. i'm done with Summer school!! yay!

i jut saw the cutest thing in the whole world! it made me say, "awwww" and smile a lot! my mister, he never fails at making me happy.

today was phillip's niece's 1st b-day party. she's so cute!! afterwards we went to gym and we swam :) yay it was fun! then we got dinner :)

so friday night, at random i figure i'd listen to this name taken song i've never really listened to. (which by the way is really good!) so i'm listeing and hear a destinct lyric line that made me stop the song and begin research. i looked up the lyrics, examined the song meanings and even wikipedia'ed my discoverings. my conclusion: panic! at the disco got their name from name taken's song !!!!! :0

oh the scandel! interesting!

wow wow wow, so coinsidentally, name taken has 2 teaser songs up. ahh! maybe they will return... :)

eeek, we leave thursday, and i'm excited!

so i've been hanging out with my sisters day :)
ahh, it's been great!
i've been helping michelle prepare dinner and laughing with them.
In between assisting Michelle and giggling with Catherine, romanic comedies have been playing in the background :)
I want to be here more often, i missed this :)
i want phillip to see how wonderful they are, my goal is for him to understand and share in my joy.
Catherine's making drinks, yay! and Michelle's spagetti takes superb, i can't wait till it's done!

Summer school is going well and i like my class a lot.
with Catherine's comp in the kitchen for the afternoon (while michelle needed it to view recipes) i have access to post this and to join in on the fun.
back to the adventure!

ps. catherine and i had a team venture moment, ya, i'm silly :P

I would just like to say that last Monday was absolutly perfect ♥^♥ ♥
I think we are making up for all the time lost this past month of barely seeing each other and it's been great :)
We saw The Davinci Code and X-Men 3 yay!
School is done for the semester!
lots of fun :)
and coming up is Heather's bachorette party and her wedding :)
so i will be needing a new dress, or possibly using one(s) i already have :)
yay, i love any excuse for dressing up!

For some reason, it ment a lot to me. maybe because i never get to spend time with all of my sisters together.

tonight was the series finale of 7th Heaven

i'm sad that it's over. And it ened with a cliff hanger, that's not nice to us fans :( lol
it ended with Sandy saying "we need to talk". what the heck? i speculate that she came there to tell Simon he's the real father of her baby, not Martin.
Though her pregency the show hinted at the possibility.

I figured Lucy was going to have twins, and when Sara showed up pregnant too, i was so happy, but when her and Matt annouced they too were going to have twins and Carlo jumps in and tells the family how he and Mary are back together and expecting twins, the story line got a little cheese! How many times do three married children bring news of twins, all within the same time frame as well? I am sorry, but that was just plain silly. Cute, but silly.

I think they needed to show what happened at alter! all of the sudden the show was at the reception and we the viewers weren't sure if they were married or called it off.
We soon find out that they didn't go through with the ceremony. Everyone was happy and had no regrets, it was a plesant atmosphere of family togetherness.

i liked how they showed the unaried footage from the piolt, which can only be seen on the dvd of season 1, which i would like to own one day :)

Aww, and i was happy they brought back Heather! i was so surpried and glad they showed her, but at the same time i thought, "why Heather and not any of Simon's ex girlfriends?" She's an important character though and glad to see her again :)

Sadly, characters like the Hamiltons, Cecilia, Martin, Ben, Peter, Peter's parents, the Colonal and Ruth, Roxanne, Chandlar, Robbie, Mrs. Bink, Deena, Wilson and his son Billy, Cheryl, Aunt Julie and Hank and thier kids, Lou, Ginger, Captin Michael, (who will always be Sargent Michaels to me), the Glasses, Shauna, Georage (Erik's adopted litle borther), and Mac (martin's friend), did not appear :( even though they are important characters!

i really wished they'd shown Matt and Sara's graduation from medical school :( that would've been neat to see.

Overall, the episode was really good :)

aww i can't believe the series is over.

so, last night around midnight, as i was diligently working on my history essay for that book, there a huge crash outside.
a man fell asleep at the wheel and hit all 3 cars in front of our house :S
the noise was horrible sounding.
it scared me, and phillip wasn't near his phone. i called nathan and as i explained what i saw, i started to shake and cry.
damn pychologically associating events with fears :(
a little while later i was fine and finished my paper.
my car is fine! thank goodness no one was hurt.

omg, it even smells like a summer night outside.
i want lay out on the grass, and take in the season.
michelle is back to the michelle i remember and have missed!
i stoped by tonight to hlep her with her mister's easter present and being around her made me forget my troubles
and see that she is back to the sweet, caring, fun to laugh with, fun to be around person i love.
we even ran into each other day at school :)
Even being around jerica for a couple of minutes put me back in the mind set of comfort
and sisterhood we all used to share (when we were younger and would spend our time together).
When i woke up this morning to the sun, i wanted to text phillip and tell him how exciting it was to have it finally be sunny and on his b-day, but i didn't wanna flood him with a long text, lol.
haha, i havn't seen the mister in a while again. lol we go on this weird days together and days apart schedual.
i miss him and didn't get to be with him on his b-day. ~~i'm a terrible person!!~~
but if what he wanted was a day to do whatever, that's fine with me! it's his day! :)

i better get to sleep! i'm tired :(

i've been listening to tursday a lot!! it's not that i'm sad or anything, but they are seriously wonderful :)

lol so i finally have my car back! yay! i was soo excited,but seriously, i've missed my car soo much!!
Fall Out Boy was fun :) but the rain was torture! i was also reminded of how much i dislike arena's and my love for small venues. regardless, it was great to be with Heather and Phillip <3

so i went to the dentist tuseday and my hygenist talked to me like i was her best friend swaping mother tales. i'm serious! sometimes i feel like i am older than i really am, and other times i feel i am a failure at being this older person. i am constantly cleaning when i'm home and for some reason, it manages to never stay organized. as my mother told me the other night, "welcome to my life". Tonight i sort of messed up the meal i made, it was discouraging, but it turned out fine regardless. I am a mother to ashlyn when i watch her. Cooking for her, cleaning up after her and her friends, and making sure she is safe. yet i still have fun, being my age, by listening to music, being with the people i adore and examining fashion.

Sometimes i feel like i am not doing such a great job at being this great girlfriend figure. i am never prepared, especially whenever phillip and i go places together. We joke about this, but still, i should be the one making sure the snacks are made and bought, extra jackts are in hand, bandaids are ready in emergenies, plans are established, but he's the one who's prepared. It's not that i'm not thinking about these things, it's just i'm not used to this at all. maybe the next trip i will be better prepared and can amaze him. i'm so weird! lol :)

phillip has been sick all week and i felt so helpless :(

ugh, i'm soo tired! i've so busy all day : math class, lifting and moving heavy files, leaving me with many paper cuts, picking up my brother, went for a long walk and sort of exercised, cooked dinner, finally relaxed, managed to annoy my mother, (i am a horrible person) cleaned up the kitchen, did homework, made a list of what needs to be done in the morning, and in a few, i will travel to my bed.

i need to pack in the morning, go to the bank, and go to class.

next thursday is up in air! i also have a math test and history test next week.

anything else? oh yes, now i must sleep!

yesterday we went to lunch with nathan.
it was the first time phillip got to fully experience all that is nathan.
Phillip laughed at all the stories nathan told, and we all got along well :)
This is all very important to me that they got along. yay! i mean nathan is goofy and can be rather rude, but aside from that he's a great friend! i only want others to see what i see and i think phillip did very much so :) yay!!!!
Friday is Fall out Boy!
this weather is icky!!!
i can't wait to drive my car again!! :)

*found a band i really like and want to see tuseday night (ps. phillip remind me to ask you about this)
*i almost bought Pete and Pete season 2, but put it back :(
*gave my brother his b-day gift
*sang along to jack johnson while playing the sims

grr!!
and my day went as following:

*woken up at 6:30am- "alison, will you make me lunch!" then the damn house alarm went off as the kids were leaving for school :S
*forgot my tooth brush and had to run to get it this morning
*dishes, dishes and more dishes
*the house is sooo cold!!!
*didn't get to make the dinner i was planing to prepare
*plus i worked
*raising a pre-teen: i am good at this, i asked the same questions as her mom did when objecting to her staying at a hotel for a sleep over
*i had to clean the bath tub before i took a long bath
*old lucky charms= no good for breakffast
*miss communication with mr. phillip :(
*i've driven all over today, taking the kids everywhere.
*hours and hours of homework left to do
*i've eaten every meal alone, cooked for one, except for the other night when i cooked for the girls.
*i hate being all alone for this long, especially since i don't want to do my homework
*grr and to top it off, i forgot that nathan was going to disneyland today, and when he called (which cheered me up becuse i was able to laugh at myself) and he told me about his day, etc, i died when i discovered i forgot to tell him to get me some mouse ears :( i've been wanting the 50th anniversary mouse ears since i found out about them last year :( darn disneyland celebrated a month after i was there last february.
*i'm bummed i have to spend the night alone with no one. alicia needs to work in YC again :(
*thank goodness there are only 2 other girls here, not 4!

i think i will go back to drawing. maybe sit by the pretend fire and try to keep warm. i wish that warm fierplace was in my room!!

ps. my room smells like coffee :)
